Marina Falco was born in Naples on August 30, 1967. She studied at the Istituto Statale Francesco Grandi in Sorrento and then at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, where she has been teaching Artistic Anatomy since 1999. Numerous exhibitions in active, in Italy and abroad. Among her personal exhibitions we remember those in Germany (Frankfurt 2016 galerie Westend) in Switzerland (Lugano 1992 galleria la Chica) and in several Italian cities, recently in 2019 at the Fontana di Comabbio (VA) curated by Felice Bonalumi and Massimo Cassani, in 2018 at the Peano Foundation (CN) curated by Giovanni Cerri. We still remember the solo shows in 2017 in Magenta, at the Magenta gallery, in Milan at the Cappelletti gallery in 2011 presented by Andrea del Guercio and at the Renzo Cortina Association in 2007, with text by Antonio D’Amico. She has exhibited in group exhibitions in Germany, Belgium, Japan, Croatia, Switzerland, the United States, Spain and Turkey. Among the group exhibitions in Italy, we would like to mention the recent ones: in 2018 in Trecastelli (AN) Museo Nori De’ Nobili Il ritratto nelle arti visisive contemporanee in collaboration with the Museo Alda Merini in Milan and the Museo Civico Floriano Bodini in Gemonio, and in Milan at the Fabbrica del Vapore a tribute to Pasolini, or in Mantua at the Casa Museo Sartori L’arte tra paesaggi e periferie. In 2014 in Piacenza at the Galleria Biffi Link curated by Simona Bartolena, in 2013 in Maccagno (VA) in the spaces of the Civic Museum Parisi Valle, in 2011 in Turin at the Sala Nervi Padiglione Italia curated by Vittorio Sgarbi, presented at the 54th Venice Biennale, in 2006 in Francavilla al Mare (CH) at the Museo Michetti per Laboratorio Italia curated by Philippe Daverio.
