From the US to promise each other eternal love

It's well known that Sorrento is the city of love, but an art gallery has been chosen as the location to promise each other "I do"—a novelty.

Thinking about it Sherwin, from San Francisco, who, following and appreciating the work of gallery owner and curator Rossella Savarese, decided to make the gallery a special place for his Nicole! In the spaces where, until September 30th, an exhibition entitled "Time Spent Loving" featuring contemporary artists from around the world is currently on display, the couple of Chinese origins decided to exchange a promise of eternal love.

It was moving to witness the moment and see a young man kneel before his beloved and ask for her hand, just like in a fairy tale," says Rossella Savarese. "Beyond the romance and the organizational care lavished by the couple's friends, who traveled from the US for the occasion, I was struck by the way art, once again, has bridged distances. The idea of an inclusive contemporary space, open to the general public, remains a priority in my activities. Ours remains a place of cultural exchange, where we passionately and expertly assist collectors everywhere, and helping Sherwin realize his dream was exhilarating!
